Below is some important information on your stay at our Sonnenhotel Adler 4-star hotel:

We know from experience that Sat Navs will often take you to Villandro by the longer route. We therefore advise you to follow these directions: leave the A22 Brennero motorway at the Chiusa/Val Gardena exit and continue towards Bolzano until you reach the turning for Villandro. The village is 4 km further on. The Sonnenhotel Adler is at the centre of the village. Chiusa is 5 km from the motorway exit.
Under the description of an adults-only hotel, we at the Sonnenhotel Adler aim to meet the needs of guests over the age of 14. Even the world's most loving parents need an occasional break from the daily routine. Some time to yourselves in a beautiful landscape can give you a new burst of energy and refresh both your body and spirit. We love children, we ourselves are parents of five active youngsters and consider them one of the greatest joys of life. The Sonnenhotel Adler promises its guests some well-deserved peace and quiet. So, if you're looking for a family holiday, we recommend you choose our sister hotel, the Berglandhotel Untertheimerhof, which offers an outdoor swimming pool, games room, playground, and products from our own farm. It's a real paradise for families!
Arrival: Your room will be available from 3 p.m. on your day of arrival. On your day of departure, please vacate your room by 10 a.m.
Departure: You can still make use of our wellness area on your day of departure. We ask you to vacate your room by 10:00 a.m., but you can access the wellness area and the Vital buffet until 6:00 p.m.! The charge for this is only € 20 per person (please ask at reception).

First come, first served! If you book a stay of at least 3 nights more than 4 months in advance, we will give you a 5% discount.
Telephone bookings will be binding upon receipt of written confirmation. The room and floor numbers cannot be confirmed at the time of booking. We will however do our best to meet the needs of our guests.

Villanders is located exactly in the geographical center of South Tyrol. From here you can quickly reach all main destinations in South Tyrol, North Tyrol or Trentino/Lake Garda, the cities of Bressanone (15min) , Bolzano (30 min), Merano (50 min) and many more. Villanders is one of the places in South Tyrol that gets the most hours of sun.
At a height of 2000 metres on the plateau of the Villandro Alp, we have an alpine hut and pasture where animals from our farm go to graze in summer. From the middle of June to the middle of October, normally on Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on weather conditions, we organise a barbecue at our hut for our guests, with breath-taking views of the Dolomites.
Buffet Breakfast: from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Afternoon buffet: from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Dinner: from 6:30 p.m. Please come to the dining-room before 8:00 p.m.
Our hotel rooms are equipped with hypoallergenic bedding (so with no use of goose down). In addition, our varied buffet of salads and crudités and our 5-course evening menu are designed to offer healthy options for guests with food allergies or intolerances. Special dishes can also be prepared on requests. Unfortunately, we are not able to create specific menus for particular types of food allergy.
Spend romantic hours for two in the Adler Spa and book the indoor pool and/or your desired sauna exclusively from 8:30 pm! Enjoy our panoramic indoor pool in the evening atmosphere for only € 25.00 and with your desired sauna for only € 45.00 per hour and per person. Wellness just for you and your partner in private. Time together and moments of peace and relaxation.
Smoking is forbidden in the hotel: this applies to all the rooms and public spaces. Smoking is allowed on the balcony of your room, on the terrace and on the lawn. We have created two comfortable seating areas for smokers next to the hotel entrance.
Free WLAN in all the public areas of the hotel. We can provide newspapers on request. Guests who enjoy reading can make use of the well-stocked hotel library.
Your friends are also welcome at the Adler. Charges for visitors are as follows: € 15 for breakfast, € 10 for the afternoon buffet and just € 29 for dinner (instead of € 39). The charge for using the wellness area is € 20 per person; and an extra € 5 for bathrobe, towels and slippers.
Your four-legged friend is welcome at the Sonnenhotel Adler! There are lots of hiking and walking trails near our hotel, where your dog can run around and play freely. We would like to remind guests that dogs are not allowed in the sunbathing area, wellness area and dining-rooms (but they are permitted in our Jägerstube and lounge bar, and on the terrace). Thank you in advance for your understanding. The daily charge for a dog is € 20 (excluding food).
You can park for free in the hotel car park. You can also reserve a reserved parking space in the garage for just € 10,00 a day.
The Sonnenhotel Adler has a 22 kW charging station for electric vehicles. The price for connecting to the charge point is € 0.45 per kWh.
South Tyrol and the Isarco Valley are a perfect place for cyclists and mountain bikers. There's a huge network of cycle paths, with routes of varying difficulty. There's a also a very long cycle trail that runs all the way from the Brenner Pass to Lake Garda. For freeride enthusiasts, the Plose Bike Park is a must.
